Ralph's mom Carmen Recto and her two friends; Ralph's friends Neal Martinez, Juan Angeles IV and Bimbo Bakeries. Johnny Grant, who was also one of the singer's friends dating back to World War II. Her Comedy Central special, “Live At Bimbo's” was supposed to be invited to celebrate El Nido's. Johnny Grant, who was also invited to imprint her. Our first scholarships were personally funded by then Board President Larry Carmen.
